Xiza gallery started as a project by a Mexican student to help emerging artists to position themselves in theinternational art market. Emiliano was born in Mexico, surrounded by music, artand artists. During university and thanks to his study program, he lived inFrance, Singapore and the Netherlands. While passing through these countries, acommon thread came to light: The lack of guidance and accompaniment thatuniversities and institutions give to emerging artists. Upon moving to theNetherlands and remodeling his room, the young student decided to ask multiplefriends for works to decorate his house and help them sell pieces in theNetherlands and Europe. This is how, after returning to Mexico, his homeland, Emiliano returned to the Netherlands carrying 15 works by 5 different artists.
As he informally sold the different works, the desire to provide a quality service and add more value to the artists ledto the creation of a formal gallery. By representing these talented artistsabroad, the need for collaboration and support from other emerging localartists was soon reflected. Maintaining a personal relationship with theartists, little by little the mission has been adapting to their needs.
How its going
