Introducing Xiza – The gallery that supports new artists.
Isabelle Vazquez Wallsten is a Mexican artist and art student living in Mexico City. Since she was a child, the artist grew up surrounded by beings who accompanied her and supported her in her artistic and personal development. In her work, this is translated into expressive human figures full of introspection. However, this protective and warm family is made up not only of her blood ties but also of multiple guardians, some cold and elegant and others docile and furry. Thanks in part to her ties to and early exposure to nature, Isabelle's work enhances and honors this detailed and colorful connection. Among a thousand faces and multiple teachers, the young woman finds the inspiration to develop the human form in different pictorial contexts. Isabelle likes to play with shapes and faces, which she uses to print feelings on paper. Reflection, fine lines, details, and animals are some of the many aspects that define Isabelle's art. In addition, like a sharp sting, the artist injects her designs into the skin of certain lucky ones. Being also a tattoo artist, the young woman helps others carry those natural patterns that most represent them. Enjoy and explore the world of Isabelle.
